Good Day to Bleed

This past week I was able to hang out with one of my biggest mentors in the fitness industry Zach Even Esh. If you have not meet Zach or read his materials you are missing out. ZEE is the Underground Strength Coach and he "leads from the front" with no apologies.
Zach's no nonsense mentality really got me going and realizing the limitations I was placing on my self and what was possible. I am very grateful for Zach's commitment to being him self and going for it.

After meeting up with ZEE I headed out to New Braunfels for the Godai Elements competition. This was a first year event that Crossfit Central hosted. It was an awesome event, check the photos here.
One of the top athletes from the Crossfit world showed up from Long Island Daniel Tyminski aka "Boom Sauce". Dan is a wild man and ready to take on any challenge. After event three Dan shared with me a video he watched from 2009 crossfit games. For a split second it really woke me up to how much I was leaving on the table in my ability to be a Crossfit competitor.

You never know where inspiration is going to come from but this past week I got it.

"ITS A GOOD DAY TO BLEED" 4 Lessons

  1. Speed in action kills all fear and produces results
  2. Its not over until you decide its over. [insert what ever word you want into it]
  3. Committed discipline action over time produces results
  4. No one can stop you except your self.
