Living on the outer limits of what is possible will freak out 98% of the population, including me.  I am good at doing the dance, looking like I am putting it all out there but ONLY when I know it will work. What if you and I were willing to live on the edge but not only on the edge, truly willing to take the leap to the unknown.

Fear is the reason the mass majority are not willing to make the plunge.

I own one of the largest Crossfit Affiliates in the world, if not the largest? I have more than 700 clients, led by over 20 full time trainers. I am ready to make a quantum leap, but if I do this, I will be taking the group with me.

Five years ago, when I took my first leap to start this thing called Crossfit Central, it was me and a hand full of people. The risk was much smaller and the landing if I failed would be much softer.

Today the game is bigger, threatening a much more painful landing.  I do not make decisions without a lot of consideration these days.  It is time to make a move!

You might not see the effects today or tomorrow.  However, in one or two years when you do see the effects, recall this blog post and know a decision was made in the face of FEAR.

Adapt or Die

Opening a Crossfit affiliate can be the scariest and most exciting journey any crossfithead could ever do! Crosssfit recently hit 2000 affiliates world wide. Two thousand is a pretty large number of people.   If you just do simple math, 2000 affiliates times an average of 50 clients at each box is 100,000  organized crossfitters. This is not even counting all the military and home garage gyms, boot camps etc.

As Crossfit reaches mass consumption across the country, new ways of approaching the business must occur.  Going about things as-is, will not meet the demands and the desires of the people.

I personally have had to stretch my view of what is possible at Crossfit Central and how we will touch more people and change the world. Our staff is constantly upping their game and looking at our affiliate with fresh eyes to develop the program and to bring the best product to market.

As the leader of Crossfit Central I must adapt just as fast as the market demands. Sometimes this can be challenging when you are familiar with the old ways of doing things. I am committed to having an open mind to to get our game to the next level!

Run Jeremy Runnnn!!!

Do you ever feel like you are STUCK? Life is moving forward and progress is occurring + or - but your not completely free?  While on a run yesterday I began to think of all the great things I have learned over the past years and realized how much I love to run. Not for the sake of running but for the therapeutic process of moving forward while thinking. In the past I would run two to three half marathons a year. I haven't run a half marathon in two years. In the next six months I am going to run 3! I am excited about letting my legs run free as well as my mind!

Something More

Garage Gym Air Band
I started my first Boot Camp in October of 2005. Five years have flown by and what do I have to show for it?  I have learned so much along the way its mind blowing.

I was sitting in Starbucks this am visiting with an up and coming Crossfit athlete and personal trainer, and I noticed two fit guys come in with all black fitness gear on and sharp hair cuts. I instantly figured they were trainers but wasn't sure. After I wrapped up my meeting I could hear a conversation rolling with two young ladies and the young men talking about Gladiotor boot camp and starting a conversation etc. etc. Might have been a job interview, who knows?

It was fun to hear them chat about this a that and up coming plans to Take Over the World, Best boot camp in the world!

I started Crossfit Central with Carey Kepler when I was 24 years old. On October 5th I will be turning twenty nine.

When I was 24 all I wanted to do was take over the world with a killer Crossfit Program and Boot Camps and be the biggest and the best! Don't get me wrong I still plan to do this but my motivation has changed. It was a scary transition but I made it through  in one whole.

My motivation used to be me! Ok Ok I admitted it to the world! Ha the funny thing is you already knew this but I was oblivious to it. My biggest limitation was my EGO. I know I still have it and I promise I will work on my self even more I Promise. : )

I have always believed in empowering people and did my best at applying it. Now I have dedicated my life to it.

I don't know what God has planned for me but I know I will put forth by best foot each and every time.

Here today gone tomorrow. When we think about musicians, actors, athletes they come and they go but some rise up to the top and stay there for many years. How is that so? Musicians that come to mind, Johnny Cash, Michael Jackson, Jay Z, and Madonna have been around for years or made come backs in their career keeping them at number one.

Talent is? The ability to continue to produce quality content? Discomfort

Greatness is not a function of circumstances. Greatness is Largely a matter of Conscious Choice and Discipline. GOOD TO GREAT

Erwan Le Corre is one of the most capable athletes on earth, and you may have never heard about him. The French National, and native of New Mexico, is a member of the burgeoning evolutionary fitness movement. We were fortunate enough to film him over two days for a revealing look at how his MOVNAT movement began. With one Men's Health feature and a feature in OUTSIDE magazine coming, this fall, expect to see a lot of this fitness revolutionary. He believes that fitness doesn't stop when the clock ends. Trust us, this guy can do it all.
