Lion of Judah

Wikipedia Self-discipline refers to the training that one gives one's self to accomplish a certain task or to adopt a particular pattern of behaviour, even though one would really rather be doing something else. For example, denying oneself of an extravagant pleasure in order to accomplish a more demanding charitable deed. Thus, self-discipline is the assertion of willpower over more base desires, and is usually understood to be a synonym of 'self control'. Self-discipline is to some extent a substitute for motivation, when one uses reason to determine a best course of action that opposes one's desires.

The Future of Human Performance

I am a dreamer yes I am. I have a dream that some day people will believe in themselves so that they will achieve all that they dream. I have a dream children will believe in themselves so much they will be able to achieve their dreams. I set out to win the crossfitgames and I failed, I came in third. I trained my heart out eating the zone, following the wods, and running the best affiliate I knew how. I am a dreamer yes I am.

Many people will doubt me but I will still dream. 2009 games quickly approach and I will still dream of spreading crossfit across the nation.

I have one mission and that is to positively affect the world and Crossfit is my vehicle. I will pursue my mission with all my heart.

Anderson High Dry Land Training

Sports Specific Training- What is it? In the photo above twenty young swimmers are performing squats during the Crossfit Central warm up. I am asked all the time "do I do sports specific training"? MY typical answer is yes but in all reality's the answer is no. Crossfit is a general fitness program that develops 10 general preparedness skills that will make you a better athlete. A better athlete for what? Any sport you choose to play or compete in Crossfit Central trains marathoners, fighters, basketball players and soccer moms(aka super athletes) to be fit. The side benefits are you lose weight, feel good, and life is better!

Athletes For a Cure!

Fight Gone Bad Info Page
Crossfit Central has set a goal of Fundraising $25000.00 this your for athletes for a cure Prostate Cancer. I have set a personal goal of $1000.00. After looking at our groups fundraising efforts we are holding strong at second place with $9000.00 raised and on track to hit the teams goal.
Well then that leaves me...... I have a big whopping $00.00 raised. I am not one to set a goal and not hit it so I have officially started to fund raise and plan to hit my goal quickly. So with that said be the first to donate to a great cause! : )
